A useful coaching session starts with work someone understands well enough to review. The session builds a small practice case before anyone connects more tools.
Choose the task and the owner
Name one recurring task, the person who decides whether the result is useful, and the information the approved account may receive. If those answers are unclear, use a synthetic case and keep real records outside the exercise.
Write the result in a sentence a colleague could act on. Then write the review rule: who checks which facts against which source, and what stays open when the answer is missing or conflicting.
Practice before you expand
Run the task once with a small source set. Keep the output beside its references. Record preparation, production, review, and correction separately. A polished answer does not pass if it fails the review rule.
The client decides what the work means and whether it is ready for use. Briu facilitates the practice, helps clarify the workflow, and identifies a useful next attempt.
Leave with a next attempt
Finish with a task card that names the outcome, owner, permitted inputs, stopping point, and next trial. The next trial may be another fictional case, a redacted real case, a workflow review, or a decision to stop.
